Monastry at Hronsky Benadik-
Built on the foundation of the former basilica of St. Benedict (1075). A Gothic three-nave church built in 1346–1410, fortified in the 16th century. Gothic plastic arts and remains of frescoes. Near the monastery on Hron River is the Slovak Gate of Štiavnické vrchy and Pohronský Inovec mountains and flows free to the broad Panonian Lowland.
