The log cabin house is located in the village of Ždiar at the foot of the Belanske Tatras. The village is the largest reservation of folk architecture. There are a lot of possibilities for hiking in the Belanske Tatras, the High Tatras, Spiš Magura and the area of the Tatras in Poland and its small toun Zakopané. You can take trips to the nearby National Parks Pieniny, Slovak Paradise, visit historical places of the Northern and Central Spiš e.g. the Stará Ľubovňa castle, the Spiš castle, medieval tours of Kežmarok, Levoča. Two swimming pools with thermal water in the nearly touns Vrbov and Vyšné Ružbachy are excellent for relaxation. If you like skiing go to the ski resorts in Ždiar, Strednica and Bachledova Valley. There are available tracks for cross – country skiing as well.
