Nitra – Nitran Gallery

The Nitra´s Gallery in Nitra was found in 1965. Our programme nowadays is majoring in developing the visual art history research and presenting a current Slovak visual art in three expositional rooms where each of them represents a particular thematic filed: in representative rooms (1. floor) there are usually installed more significant Slovak or international projects under curacy of our own or external curator; the salon rooms (ground floor) provide a space for living artists form all regions of Slovakia and for organizing talks with them within their expositions. The Gallery of youth is more dynamic conception and space of Nitra´s gallery and it enables young artists and art-historians to present their work.
