Cadca Kysuce Museum
The Museum was founded in 1972 as a District Museum, since 1974 renamed into the Kysuce Museum. In 1973 – 1975 it carried out a rurvey into folk architecture at Kysuce, and in 1974 – 1981 a complex research of the inundated villages Riečnica and Harvelka during which an extensive collection and purchase of objects were carried out in the field, thereby providing a base for the collection fund. The Museum acquired important archaeological objects through its own research activity – field surveys, mainly in localities about the town Kysucké Nové Mesto. The museum is housed in an building at the Moyzes St.
