Michalovce – Zemplin Museum
Zemplin museum in Michalovce start up in year 1957 look like Zemplin homeland museum, bunk from year 1965 work under present-day names. Collections and exposures are placed in a baroque-classical manor-house belonging to nobility from the village of Stare and from Michalovce. The manor-house comes from the seventeenth century, when it was rebuilt from an older castle and after the last rebuilding in the 1830s it obtained the form of a two-floor block building with corner donjons and side ground floor wings. The manor-house as well as reconstructed foundations of an important sacral building – rotunda are all cultural monuments.
