Nove Zamky – Jan Thain Museum
The Jan Thain Museum (before Homeland Museum at Nové Zámky) takes contact with the town's collection and museum activities dating from 1935 – on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the liberation of the town's fortress from the Turks. The museum collects objects of archaeology, history, numismatics, ethnography and books, from the territory of the Nové Zámky district. It also boasts a remarkable collection of historical weapons.
