Presov – Wine Museum
This unusual museum is housed in the ancient two-storied cellars of the Prešov town hall. From Monday to Saturday, in a original setting of underground passages you can learn many interesting things about wine – the ways it is processed, how to serve and enjoy it, and curiosities that cannot be found in any book. The museum offers an exhibition of wines from all Slovakian and Moravian regions, and also from other parts of the world. The objects that have been used in processing vine are remarkable. In the largest vaulted room, which will accommodate 50 people, you sit at oak tables and the setting allows you to experience the ambience of the ancient underground, and, at the same time, enjoy good wine. Of course, what goes with good wine is good food and merry music. If you enjoy some of the wines you will find it in the stylish shop that is a part of the museum. In the shop you can select any of the exhibited wines. It is an unusual gift which is also excellent in taste.
