Exhibition of Janosik and Terchova
In the centre of the village of Terchova on the edge of the Mala Fatra National Park, which tourists often visit for the beauties of the Vratna Valley, the Povazie Museum offers visitors the following exhibition of Janosik and Terchova. The exhibition is dedicated to the folk hero Juraj Janosik, who was born in the village. It contains documents and materials relating to the history of Terchova and folk customs. The most interesting exhibits are a set of stocks, instruments used at carnival time, and items used by agricultural households in the past. The Exhibition is part of the Povazie Museum in Zilina
