Zlate Moravce – Municipal Museum
The Municipal Museum at Zlate Moravce is of the local history type and its collections include museum objects from the region of the Upper Zitava river valley – the former district of Zlate Moravce and Vráble. It was founded in 1896, 12th may. In 1924 its collections and library were moved to Nitra and from there, in 1951, to Bojnice. The Local District History Museum was set up in 1947 and its first exhibition open in 1955. The Municipal Museum is now located in the Migazzi manor, originally a Renassaince building from 1630, was adapted in Baroque towards. Howerer, the annexes from the 20th century have debased its value.
