Dear guests,

Our boarding house Dobšinka, consisting of two independent houses, is located on the border of the old little mining town Dobšiná and we offer you here a family atmosphere. In our boarding house we offer accommodation for 20 guests.

Dobšiná lies in the heart of the Slovak Ore Mountains, 468 above the sea level. It is situated on both banks of the brook Dobšinský potok and is the entrance gate to the National Park Slovak Paradise, one of the most beautiful national parks of Slovakia. It is formed by Western Carpathia Mountains and is a part of the Gemer – Spiš cave region, lying about 40 km east of the High Tatras. The region of the Slovak Paradise is a typical oasis of peace and silence, a wonderful natural location with numerous water falls, canyons, abysses and caves /such as the ice cave Dobšinská Ľadová Jaskyňa/ – an ideal place for all who seek rest and peace. In each time of the year it is beautiful here. You can go fishing, skiing and water skiing, cycling, horse riding or just walking around the forests. The town Dobšiná lies on the Gothic Way, leading from Spiš to Gemer and offering a number of historical sights such as the medieval Levoča –50km, the castles Spišský hrad – 50km and Krásna Hôrka- 30km, numerous temples, the Chateau of Betliar – 30km and 5 caves included in the UNESCO world´s heritage.
